Principal's Message

This year’s school theme, "An Adventure Awaits," has truly guided us through an incredible journey of growth and leadership. In January, we were honored to be recertified as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. This recognition speaks volumes about our commitment to fostering a culture of student leadership, empowerment, and growth. We're proud of the strides we've made in establishing, building, and nurturing this environment where every student can thrive.

One of the most heartening developments this year has been the expansion of our parent lighthouse group. Parent involvement and support have been instrumental in enriching our school community and enhancing the educational experience for all our students. Together, we're building a stronger, more connected school family.

Additionally, our after-school programming has flourished, offering an array of enriching and engaging opportunities for our students. From creative arts to STEM clubs, our students have been able to explore their interests, develop new skills, and forge lasting friendships outside the classroom. These experiences are invaluable in shaping well-rounded individuals and nurturing a love for learning beyond the school day.

In March, our 4th-grade students embarked on a remarkable journey as they flew to Sacramento for a day of exploration at the state capital. For many of them, it was a first-time experience that ignited their curiosity and broadened their horizons. Visiting historic landmarks and witnessing the government in action provided invaluable learning moments that will stay with them for a lifetime.

As we eagerly anticipate the remainder of the year, we're excited about the adventures that await us. We remain confident that we'll continue to inspire, empower, and nurture the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and change makers.
